Experience the magic of Wickedly Tropic Glammies 2025, where Tropic Skincare once again redefined what it means to host a truly unforgettable live event. This year’s celebration, inspired by the spellbinding energy of the wizardarding world of Oz, brought 5,000 radiant ambassadors together inside the BP Pulse Live arena. For one extraordinary night, the entire venue was transformed into a dazzling wonderland of light, colour, performance, and recognition.

From the opening moments, there was a sense that this was going to be the most ambitious Glammies yet. The centrepiece of the production was a breathtaking ROE CB5 screen powered by Brompton Technology, creating an ultra-wide LED wall, measuring an immense 42 x 8.4 metres—the largest display ever installed at BP Pulse Live. Designed to envelop the audience in an immersive visual world, this colossal screen projected spellbinding content that elevated every performance, speech, and award highlight into something spectacular.

The entertainment was as bold and unforgettable as the design. Red took to the stage with soaring, electrifying vocals that held the crowd in rapture, setting the tone for a night filled with energy. Pop Voices Choir delighted with harmonies that spread warmth and community throughout the arena. The euphoric beats of Symphonic Ibiza ignited a wave of excitement, blending live orchestral elements with iconic dance tracks, while DJ Rik kept pulses racing with a set that transformed BP Pulse Live into a sea of celebration. For a finale of intensity and fire, Black Fire delivered a performance bursting with rhythm, flame, and theatrical spectacle.

But beyond the entertainment, the entire evening was staged with meticulous care. More than 120 cabinets of L-Acoustics, carefully aligned and tuned with Sound Vision, ensured pristine sound across the vast arena. Presenters and performers relied on 20 packs of managed Bolero IFB, allowing directors to cut through live audio feeds with urgent updates or last-second instructions. Meanwhile, Panasonic’s Kairos, a cutting-edge live video production platform and a SMPTE 2110 video distribution system enabled crystal-clear visuals, from Panasonic’s UC4000 4K Studio cameras, to be routed seamlessly around the venue, offering both technical precision and smooth integration.

Over 300 intelligent lighting fixtures—from Robe beams to Ayrton profiles and ETC spots—bathed the space in atmosphere and movement. In addition, 36 OXO Pixyline 150 linear LED fixtures were used to frame the colossal LED wall, adding depth, precision, and striking definition to the centrepiece of the stage. Add in the theatrical power of pyrotechnics, CO₂ jets, and moments of fog-filled anticipation, and the production became a living, breathing spectacle, entirely in step with the Glammies’ “Wickedly Tropic” theme.

Behind the scenes, this level of grandeur came together through the perfect blend of artistry and logistics. Across both setup and live show delivery, a dedicated team of 54 technical crew worked tirelessly, supported by 10 articulated trucks of equipment and months of preparation. Every cable, panel, beam, and effect was meticulously specified, deployed, and rehearsed to achieve seamless precision.

The Glammies is never just a show—it is a testament to collaboration. The main team comprised CPL’s Event Director, Lee “Grubber” Gruszeckyj at the head of production. Next the one and only organisation and planning powerhouses that are Pandora Events, they are the glue that binds us all together and with Tropic Skincare’s own incredible in-house creatives, they wove all elements of storytelling across stage design, content, and live performance into one coherent, immersive experience.

Leadership was visible at every step. Susie Ma, CEO of Tropic Skincare, and Managing Director Carlton Connell stood front and centre both on and off stage, guiding the vision of the evening while celebrating the collective achievements of every Glambassador in attendance. Their passion for creating experiences that inspire and elevate shone through in every moment, from the stunning stage reveals to the heartfelt recognition segments that left the audience moved and motivated.

Months of planning preceded this single night, bringing together creative directors, designers, choreographers, technical specialists, and Tropic’s own leadership team in an intricate web of collaboration. Stage and show content were carefully mapped, ensuring that storytelling aligned seamlessly with each reveal, sound moment, and visual flourish. The result was not only a high-impact production, but an event that felt deeply personal and celebratory for all who attended.

Wickedly Tropic Glammies 2025 will be remembered as a night that blurred the line between theatre and celebration. For the 5,000 Glambassadors who filled the arena, it was a chance not just to be recognised, but to be transported into a world of shared achievement, connection, and creativity.
