Technical Project Manager

As a Project Manager you will be working in one or more of the following areas: live events, virtual & hybrid, film and television. Primarily working in the Technical Department you will also be required to work closely with the Warehouse and Hire Teams,  responsibilities will include:

  • Preparation and management of quotations, proposals and tenders including the production of CAD drawings and visuals
  • A main point of contact for clients on a day-to-day basis to ensure customer expectations and requirements are fulfilled
  • Attending client Site Visits and helping visualise their ideas
  • Operations and Systems Management
  • Management and planning of all technical and labour resources
  • Management of H&S on events
  • Managing the overall Event Delivery
  • Develop relationships with all key Clients, Venue and Event Stakeholders
  • Ensuring Event margins are in line with business forecasts
  • Project review and Post event follow up. Identify opportunities for further support.
  • Strong knowledge of Audio, Lighting & Video Equipment Systems and Operation
  • Working both in the UK & Internationally

Job requirements:

  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Strong Production Background
  • Thorough understanding of technical systems required to deliver events
  • Strong Client relationship skills
  • Familiarity with budgets and cost control
  • Able to work well under pressure
  • Ability to manage multiple complex jobs simultaneously
  • MS Office365 experience required
  • Technical diagram knowledge / experience preferred
  • 4+ years of project management/event management experience would be an advantage.
  • Ability to travel
  • UK driving licence

Operations Assistant

Working primarily with the Warehouse team, the Operations Assistant will support the Operations Manager::

  • Organise & arrange the processing of orders through the warehouse
  • Management of  Stock to include stock control & routine maintenance and repair, firmware updates, PAT & Rig test
  • Preparation, cleaning, verification, testing and returning equipment to company standard and procedure
  • Management of Hire & Sales consumables stock
  • Work to improve systems and processes where appropriate
  • Assisting with the upkeep and maintenance of the company vehicle fleet
  • Keeping work areas clean and organised
  • Unloading and loading of vehicles
  • Identify and report damaged equipment and report to operations manager
  • Completing warehouse orders for delivery or pickup according to a schedule
  • Check sub-hired equipment upon receipt of and prior to return, ensuring items are complete and in the same condition as received from supplier
  • Fulfil routine maintenance and repair of equipment
  • Assist in the undertaking of stock cycle counts with the department when scheduled

Job Requirements

  • Customer service experience, within audio-visual or related service industry preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, high volume environment while being able to think creatively and effectively solve problems.
  • High degree of commitment to service excellence.
  • UK driving licence.
  • Experience within the AV Industry would be an advantage
