Yamaha MS101 Speaker

The Yamaha MS101 Speaker is a desktop powered monitor speaker which shines in its versatility. Its detailed sound, particularly in the low end, makes it suitable for various applications beyond traditional studio monitoring. Equipped with two line inputs (3.5mm and ¼-inch) at the back and a combi XLR/¼-inch mic/line input on the front, the Yamaha MS101 accommodates diverse sources, making it the perfect solution as a portable reference for laptops, such as our Macbook Pro or HP Z Book, and for general on-the-go monitoring.  The MS101 features a 4″ driver which provides a frequency range of 77 Hz – 20 kHz and is powered by a 30W amplifier which helps the speaker achieve a powerful sound with clarity and detail.  The monitor speaker offers tone and volume controls, which are placed on the front panel, making it simple and easy to make key adjustments to the low and high frequencies.  Providing a powerful sound from such a small footprint makes it a great solution for monitoring live audio, it should fit on most front of house set ups, and when space is really tight the speaker features a 3/8″ thread mounting point on the bottom panel, which allows the speaker to be mounted to a standard microphone stand.
