Arcadia’s New Dragonfly stage at Glastonbury 2024 mesmerized audiences with its innovative blend of technology, art, and historical significance. The centrepiece of this year’s installation was a colossal mechanical dragonfly, crafted from a repurposed helicopter with a storied past, brought to life through cutting-edge projection mapping and immersive storytelling. The Dragonfly stage, Glastonbury 2024’s innovative replacement for the iconic Arcadia spider, hosted an impressive lineup of world-class DJs throughout the festival, among the notable acts that graced the Dragonfly stage were, Fatboy Slim, the legendary big beat pioneer, Amelie Lens, techno powerhouse, Joy Orbison, known for his genre-blending electronic sounds and Barry Can’t Swim, up-and-coming electronic producer.
